Bridget is an Australian illustrator and motion designer based in Bendigo, Victoria. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Visual Effects, she has always been drawn to the magic of storytelling.
After years in broadcast design for news and current affairs, she developed a deep appreciation for the power of visual storytelling to inform and engage. Now she channels that energy into playful, character-driven illustrations that feel like a warm hug. Working digitally in Photoshop, she uses tactile texture brushes to create a fun and organic feel.
A proud SCBWI member, Bridget has illustrated several books for self-published authors, helping bring their stories to life through vibrant illustrations. She also runs Stray Leaves, her own stationery brand featuring adorable Australian flora and fauna on eco-friendly greeting cards and wooden earrings.
When she’s not drawing, you’ll find Bridget geeking out over behind-the-scenes movie trivia, tending to her veggie garden, or cuddling her cat, Henkel. Her favourite film is The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and if she lived in Middle-earth, she’d be a hobbit—happily enjoying second breakfast and a cozy, creative life.
