Hello, I’m Bridget, an Australian illustrator and motion designer based in Bendigo, Victoria. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Visual Effects, I’ve always been drawn to the magic of storytelling.

After years working in broadcast design for news and current affairs, I developed a deep appreciation for the power of visual storytelling to inform and engage. Now I channel that energy into playful, character-driven illustrations that feel like a warm hug. I work digitally in Photoshop, using tactile texture brushes to create a fun, organic feel.

​

I’m a proud SCBWI member and have illustrated several books for self-published authors, helping bring their stories to life through vibrant illustrations. I also run Stray Leaves, my stationery brand featuring adorable Australian flora and fauna on eco-friendly greeting cards and wooden earrings.

When I’m not drawing, you’ll find me geeking out over behind-the-scenes movie trivia, tending to my veggie garden, or cuddling my cat, Henkel. My favourite film is The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, and if I lived in Middle-earth, I’d definitely be a hobbit, happily enjoying second breakfast and a cozy, creative life.
